Andrew S. Johnson meets H.R.H Prince Charles
On the 11th November, I was invited to be part of an intimate conversation with H.R.H Prince Charles at the Brixton branch of Natwest.
“It was an honour to meet H.R.H and discuss the Princes Trust Enterprise programme, which has helped me and other young entrepreneurs achieve their business ambitions. To tell of my journey was a very special moment”
The event celebrated the partnership between Natwest and the Princes Trust Enterprise Programme. Young entrepreneurs were invited to showcase their businesses that have been supported by the Prince's Trust.
Prince Charles laid the foundations for The Princes Trust in 1976; helping vulnerable young people aged 11-30 to realise their potential, transforming lives and building futures. The charity has now helped 1,000,000 young people to date.
The Enterprise Programme is a unique format, that allows aspiring business owners access to funding and advice from a panel of esteemed professionals in a relaxed and educational format. Once a business plan has been approved each applicant is assigned a business mentor to help guide them through the first critical year of the new business.
Alison Rose, CEO of Natwest, was also in attendance. An advocate for women in business, Rose has been a passionate supporter of self-starting businesses since taking the helm in 2019.
This was an amazing opportunity for me and I hope to help continue the work of the Prince's Trust through my role as a young ambassador.
